ABSTRACT The Use of Guessing Game to Improve Students’ Motivation in Learning English Vocabulary for Eighth Grade Students of SMP N 6 Yogyakarta. Siti Musthoriyah ,  Sanata Dharma University sitimusthoriyah809@gmail.com The students  had low motivation and inactive in learning English process. They were not confident to share their ideas using English. Therefore, t he researcher conducted a research to improve students’ motivation in learning English vocabulary.   The method used in this research was Classroom Action Research (CAR). The researcher conducted two cycles for two meetings. Each cycle consisted of four main steps, namely planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The first cycle was conducted on  Friday, February 22 nd , 2019 and the second cycle was held on March 06 th , 2019. The subject of the research was the students at VIII A grade of SMP N 6 Yogyakarta. The number of the students was 33 students. There were two research instruments, namely observation

Me and My Glorious Dreams By: Siti Musthoriyah “If you want to be a champion, you must play seriously” – Unknown Ketika saya ingin menjadi lebih baik dan mendapatkan apa yang saya harapkan, saya harus sungguh-sungguh dalam menjalankan semuanya. It’s Me Siti Musthoriyah adalah nama lengkap saya. Nama pemberian dari kakek saya. Saya biasanya dipanggil Ria. Saya anak ketiga dari lima bersaudara. Pendidikan saya dimulai di TK Islamiyah. Di TK tersebut saya mulai mengawali langkah mengikuti lomba untuk mewakili sekolah. Saya melanjutkan pendidikan di MI Islamiyah Karang Pakel. Saat   itu, saya mulai berusaha untuk membanggakan orang tua saya. Sering kali saya mengikuti lomba-lomba, tapi sering kali juga saya gagal. Hingga pada tahun 2006 saya berhasil membuat orang tua saya bangga dengan mengikuti lomba pidato Bahasa Arab sampai tingkat Provinsi. I believe that everybody has challenges in doing something. Although they have different level of that challenges. When I was working on the projects, I found some challenges.   My challenges were about time management, English capabilities, and spirit. First, I have difficulty to manage my time exactly. Actually I had some plans to do every day. However, sometimes the reality was different with my plans.   For example, I must do the video-book project and I should finish it soon. Hi good peole. My Name is Siti Musthoriyah. You can call me Ria.   I was born in Boyolali, on December 12th 1995. I just celebrate my sweet 23 years old. I started school when I was five years old at TK Islamiyah in Klego, Boyolali . After that, I studied at MI Islamiyah Karang Pakel and Junior High School MTs N Andong, in Boyolali too. My Senior High School is in SMA N 1 Andong. And I got my next studied at State Islamic Insitut of Surakarta (IAIN). After graduated from IAIN in 2017, I started to teach at KBS Course.
